Cargo Bridge 2
It is a great game because there is more than one way to win. You can get quite creative as you build your bridges, and you get to control the guys who get to walk across it. In the later games, you can use more advanced tactics, such as putting your guys on a bridge platform and blowing up a support so they swing onto the part of ground you need to get them to. It is a very frustrating game, but if you get stuck you can watch “How it’s done” videos.
Any of the Angry Birds Games
There are a few of them, and there are many rip offs. The fun thing about Angry Birds is that you can win by accident, and there is often more than one way to win. The physics within the game is what makes it so fun, especially when a piece is about to fall and you are willing it to drop. It is true that they can get a bit repetitive, but they are good for killing a few hours.
Tribes: Ascend
It is not a typical pick-up-and-play game, but it is not as if you have to follow the story. Pick up a gun in the game and start shooting anything that moves for a few hours. It is something to do whilst waiting for a bus.
Might & Magic: Duel of Champions
This is a card game that can get quite addictive. The card game is based on the characters from Might & Magic, and it can get very addictive as you collect all the cards.
